Gasblaster sent me this in a PM a couple of days ago. I told him to post it up for you. Where he hasn't I will. All credit and royalties go to Gasblaster. I can't really tell if it is a combination of taxidermy and glass etching or all glass etching. It is great work however it is done,not to mention the woodwork. Myself, the fish should have been salmon.

So it is taxidermy. I wonder now if that ice is some kind of acrylic instead of glass. Whatever it is it's as close to lifelike as you are probably going to get. When you going to have one made up Gasblaster?

anyone got any idea on a ball park price for a table like this? That would look reallyyyy sharp with some brook trout laying down next to the hole.

Sweet , I have 4 foot coffee table with a glass top,that I'm going to bring to my taxidermist.I can see it now, with a nice mixed of big crappie and big gills and maybe a big perch or two.

That is such a nice project .I wish the Crappies were painted a little more realistic . I have had a hard time getting someone to do a realistic paint job to my carvings.

Saw a beautiful table like this at Shipsewana (sp?) over 25 years ago. Made from a tree stump that was rotted out. There was a trout stream with line, fly and trout in it. Really cool and much more than I could ever spend on a table. Thinking over $1,000 back then.
