Lazer Mag / Chipper Blade

I have on older Lazer Mag 8"  auger with a 2 stroke Tecumseh motor . I think it  1 1/2 hp .

I was wondering if I could replace the Lazer blade with a Chipper blade . I'm wondering if it would have enough power to turn a Chipper Blade ?

I run a mag2000 and use both a chipper and lazer flights its a 2hp and I'm sure yours is also. Both flights work great and I acually prefer the chipper blade because it is more forgiving.

I live in Iowa and we fish on reservoirs that can have some dirty ice.....which happend  this year and the lazer blades don't last very long.
