Sioux Rapids Area

Thinking of a weekend trip in the Sioux Rapids area this weekend.  Does anybody have any idea of the ice conditions in that area?

The pond there has 5-6" of good ice with 3"of crap ice on top. Fishing is poor. The IGLs north of there are hot and have 12-18" depending on what lake and bay.
