Winnipeg River
« on: Jan 30, 2015, 08:47 AM »
Has anyone fished the winnipeg River? If so how's the ice conditions? Thickness? And what depth is good when it's cold? Should I be heading deeper? I'm heading out Saturday morning around 7am and just making sure everything's safe because I have never ice fished there before. Any info is apprieciated!

WPG RVR is a big place,

Hard to answer your questions with such a vague location

Not a good location, ice is unsafe. There are far better and safer choices along the wpg rvr than PF
