The Rules and fine print:-You must be signed up by the deadline using regular online tourney guidelines.
-ALL other Online tourney rules apply! and points will be calculated based on the entries in the regular online tourney
-points will be awarded for the first 5 places in each category, 5 points for first place down to 1 point for fifth place-
As organizer of this side competition I have the FINAL SAY 
-DO NOT post pics of fish in this thread...all scores are tallied using the fish entered in the regular online tourney 

NOTES:updated as of 10pm 1/9/06  I realize that I may have missed some fish due to the fact that I don't currently have the PA or ME starting lineups. I really appreciate when a person specifies his/her location on the avatar or on the post of the fish pic itself!  guys without profiles or avatars filled out please take note. Once I get those from the respective parties the leaderboard will be updated again.  I will try and update twice per week...just depends how busy I am at work   

OVERALL STANDINGS...Got the Pa lineup from Marshrat and I created the Maine lineup.  Let me know if I missed anyone...I'm sure I did...obviosuly if I missed anyone PM me and let me know.  There are two scores, the raw score based on the number of points earned by each team, and a normalized score based on a multiplicative factor calculated based on the number of fisherman/fisherwomen on each team. The normalized scores will be computed using a multiplicative factor to make things "fair". NY will have a multiplier of 1, so all points earned will be multiplied by 1....thus no change between our raw score and normalized score.  Maine will have a multiplicative factor of 193/69.  This is because there are 193 people on the NY lineup and 69 people on the Maine lineup, so the factor of 193/69 means that their raw score will be mulitplied by 2.79 to make things "fair".  PA will have a multiplicative factor of 193/84 based on the same arguments above. Their muliplicative factor is 2.29.  These multiplicative factors simply "weight" each teams points to level the playing field.

I'm on the NY team but I'm headed to Maine this weedend for 2 days of hard fishing and some drinking.  What a controversy if I caught some nice fish in Maine....  Would it count for ME or NY?

It should count for you no matter where you catch the fish. I have a member on my Team going to Finland for a couple weeks so hope he does well And besides if Mario Lemieux scores goals they count no matter where he is, not just Pittsburg
