Couple more posts and you can get the requested info on the reports and conditions page. In the meantime the lake sounds like it's only locked up at the south end with very little bite.  :icefish:

South end is just past restuarant with good ice, poor fishing, 3' to 5 ' water. Need a boat for 3/4 of the lake. Doesn't look promising for the laker bite. Wind is our enemy there.

I drove down the west side last friday and there is little to no ice at Buck's, Wycoff, Ensinore and the south end had the remnants of guys fishing in waste deep pike water. I went to Cayuga instead.
Anyone can be a fisherman in May...E.H.

south end had one shanty on it this afternoon, new ice outside the waste deep but not looking safe yet. when it locks it should be in the 12-20 foot of water range.

Thanks for the updates Big_guy ! Please keep them coming. Can't wait for the North end to get up to about 6" of ice. That is my comfort thickness. I drive around 70 miles to fish on Owasco and your updates are very helpful.

Thanks big_guy, the north end area that I would be looking to hit is on the west side of the pier heading in the direction of Buck Point. This new snow storm may change conditions for the worse as well?

Wow that is a lot of weight to push down on the ice. Will probably get wet and slushy near term.
