Cleats

What's the preferred choice out there for cleats?. Guess I better get a pair if I'm going to hit the ice in IA.

Kahtoola microspikes for sure. Expensive but they have a good warranty. If you make them last at least 3 years its only $20/yr to keep on your feet. Well worth it!

I'll vote for kahtoolas.  Think of what 1 slip on the ice could cost you.  Damn cheap!

Looks like I'll be investing in some Kahtoolas.  Bought some Eskimo anchors a while back but this awesome weather I haven't needed to set up the pop up.

Are the sizes they say pretty accurate?

The ones in the pic are large & the boots are 10's--the boots are small for 10's. I've got my larges on a pair of Lacrosse 1600gram Alphaburlys, size 9 right now, If I had the next size bigger boots, I think I'd want the extra large.

Love my Kahtoolas, great investment.

I picked up some ice trekkers, the diamond style, so far they've been pretty good. They don't have a strap thats my only worry.
