Keyhole day in day out. Consistant action and Good Eats! Gorge for sure in the the consideration. Ice is always so iffy for a 7 hour road trip, great action most of the time and a chance at a monster!
In the memory of "Team Lighting" Fish ON!

I loved Goldeneye, lots if 4 to 8lb fish.  But it died last year.  I am a big fan of Healy.  Perch aren't always that big but you can catch a lot of them.

you know i travel the state a lot for work and have fish a good number of waters but i dont really have a favorite lake or river for that matter. i think it depends on what im fishing for, who im going with, what part of the state im in and time of year. when all is said and done i think glendo is near the top of the list, heres why. glendo has a way of humbling you and then rewarding you.for me its probably the hardest lake ive ever fished, to date ive only managed a hand full of fish out of glendo but hear stories and seen pictures of the size and quality of fish that people pull out of there every year. the sheer challenge is what make a great lake.

My favorite is the fickle queen in my back yard, the flaming gorge. On any given winter she has 15 plus miles of ice to probe.  Changing my name from WYIfish to Noneagain.

if its one that is close and I already fish it would be Boysen or keyhole, if its any lake anywhere I think it would have to be devils lake for me.
I'd rather do it on the ice

Probably Pathfinder because its close and produces fairly nice trout and the last few years its been great for Walleyes in the summer time

New Fork, possibility of catching 20+ pounders and if the fish aren't biting, I can just lay back and enjoy the view.

I have to say Keyhole. Close to home and always a chance for a monster. I cut my teeth at the Gorge and had some fun but I sure don't miss that insane wind.

I would have to say Boysen hands down. It's an amazing fishery with so much diversity!
Great thing about ice fishing is, if the fish don't bite at least you know the "BEER" will stay cold!

Pathfinder: good trout and eyes,  Healy: for the wife and daughter, cool to watch them catch as many perch as they want.

Well I guess we have to stay in Wyoming..for the discussion.. that's OK lots of fun lakes in Wyoming.
I am sure glad I don't have to choose only one... except for  the discussion.
I am not much for the Gorge...it produces good fish I just don't care for it.
Had many good times on Jackson with the Macs!! years ago.
Boysen was a go to lake in past years and many nights of good times and excitement.  Spent a few new years eve out there.
Alcova/ Pathfinder have great walleye, but I don't care for all the trout and the wind and sand in the ice. Kinda like sand in the swim suit just not good.  >:(
I had a couple good days on Big Horn.
I think present day..... nostalgia aside.... I would take Keyhole today...that could change in a couple years.
Glad I don't have to stay on one lake...just my two cents..Tight lines
