Lone star
« on: Jan 10, 2015, 10:02 AM »
Anybody fished Lone Star or Willard L Meyer south of Milligan?  Thinking about heading there tomorrow, but never fished it before.  Just wondering where to go. Not too many good options where I live with out driving more than an hour.

They're both good lakes with good fish. Lone star is riddled with trees so it's a matter of finding trees with fish. There are a lot of nice bass there to so bring some minnows for tip ups. There's a 21" minimum on bass though so be sure to measure. Some big cats are there as well but not as many as a few years back.
