Was there last weekend, good ice then but not sure now with the warmer temps we had this week. lots of perch and a few trout, but no cats through the ice yet. Would like to get out again tomorrow and try again for some!

We were there Saturday and it was approx 5-6" of ice off access ramp...we came in from the floating dock and it seemed good then but that was a week ago

Another thing.  They said there were tiger trout in there, I've taken my kids 3 times this year and haven't seen any, have you heard this too?

My understanding is that they are thinking about putting tiger trout in but they wont be ready until next spring/summer.

Hopefully by next winter they will be well established in there, with any luck they will knock down the perch population a bit as well, making for fewer, but larger perch.

i hit mctucker yesterday, and there was 5" of clear ice, my guess is that roberts would be about the same.

Wasn't able to make it out today, any reports from roberts would be appreciated, thinking on putting together an ice fishing clinic there soon.

ID Fish and Game put a bunch of fingerling tiger trout in Roberts gravel pond back in June.  I was looking into what their growth rate was, and hoping that next year they'd be big enough to catch.  Never caught one before - I'm excited to give it a try.

Recorded 8.5-9 inches of ice on Roberts today. Slow fishing, a few tiny perch but no trout.

Went Saturday, about 10 inches of ice, no idea what happened to it with the rain yesterday though. Sure its still plenty safe, just be careful. The trout are really hitting light, you have to work at it to get them.

i hit roberts on 2-4-15, 9 inches of ice, caught a lot of little perch, a couple that went 7 or 8 inches. also caught a couple of trout, about 10 inches or less.
