Munuscong Bay Advice?
« on: Jan 07, 2015, 04:01 PM »
Does anyone know how to catch the walleye and perch here?  I tried about a week ago with do-jiggers, buckshots, flutter spoons, and swedish pimples tipped with minnows.  The only action I got was a strike on the flutter spoon.  I tried about a mile to the west of Dan's Resort since there was a large group of shanties there.

Sounds like you tried all the right lures. I hole give a hole 30 minutes or so, if there are no bites I move. Something that I invested in and will not fish without is my Garmin GPSMAP 78SC. It is loaded with charts of all of the Great Lakes as well as most all of the inland lakes. Find some structure and you will find fish.

It's been slow this week for me.  We managed 3 perch and 6 undersized walleye today.  I'm guessing you were a mile north of Dan's, if you were a mile west you'd be in the woods lol.  West side, trying to use a map and find structure out there won't get you much, it's a huge area with an average depth of 4 feet
