Guys,

I'll let you in on a little secret.  The pants are like fish attractors.  Works better than any chum.

Don't insult my intelligence.  By the way, check your spelling on the "d" word.

Most people probably would keep it but I have bigger on the wall already.  Sportsmanship is what it's all about.  Grow them bigger.

Maybe he's from colorado. A few anglers here, thanks to misinformation, think it is stupid to release any pike. we have a no bag limit statewide. Whatever it is, he is obviously stupid if he thinks a beast like that should be kept, instead of released to live another day. Rock on minnow, nice fish.
DUMB, not DOMB. Jeeeeeeeeez....that's the funniest thing  I've read all day.
if anybody from michigan will help me out with the lakes and stuff up here I'd really appreciate it since I'm new to the area.

Nice fish minnow1. Just to put my 2 cents into this topic. If everyone kept every big fish they caught like Tyler said he would, where would the trophy fish be? I have no problem keeping fish, if you're going to eat them. All you need is a photo and weight of the fish to get a replica. Eat the smaller ones, let the big boys go. C&R is important to the health of the fishery. I also am a rookie to this site. Don't think attacking minnows decision to release his fish was called for. This site has alot of good people more than willing to share info with rookies. Rookies don't help their cause attacking peoples character when they've made only 4 post. Not a good way to get help on this site.Respect is EARNED.Once again, nice fish minnow1.

Questioning a release is one thing but insulting another angler is another !
Thats not only a foolish mistake but not a real good way to make friends .
To make remarks like that on a forum as good as this one with only 4 posts could be you're demise.
You cant expect to get any offers of help or future fishing partners like that .
Do yourself a huge favor and do a little research on conservation and you will understand why such a fish would be released . Not trying to be rude or sound like a parent but ***THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK ***
These are a great bunch of fellow anglers with a wealth of information that you couldn't get from reading any book and in my opinion  *** I think an apology would be in order and would take you a long ways !
