weekend report

Hit a lake trout lake sat had close to a foot of ice had high hopes but no luck. No trout no Lakers fished hard all day finally managed one small yellow perch. Tried various baits. No luck. Thanks for electronics I did not get skunked after the perch. Today we went for crappies. First lake we tried ice was sketchy so we relocated found another pond close to Hillsborough and it had 10 inches to a ft of good ice. Jigged up about 10 crappies a few slimedarts and one big fall fish on a shiner. Good times working on my electronic skills tweaking sensitivity etc..... Hopefully I'll be into some bows weds morning.

Clad to hear your getting on the fish nice weekend report and good luck going after bows I'm off this week so I hope to go after some trout before the weekend comes might have to go up north

Wayne good to see that you got out. That is one tough place to fish. I've had a few skunks there myself. One of those places when you catch one it is usually a good one.

Thanks, long days and no flags can be boring but it beats working. I had high hopes, it doesnt always go our way out there I guess.
