I would agree with that. If the forecast holds up like it is now, we're going to lay down good ice all week. low of -5 on Wednesday! It's almost noon and its still below freezing here. Very windy though and sleets coming down pretty good. Things should shape up nicely after tomorrow!!

I'm going to check conditions Tuesday afternoon sometime, then probably again Thursday night.

Here's my hours for next week. Slightly extended hours Saturday and Sunday with the tournament on Hills Creek on Sunday.

Monday- 8-6
Tuesday-closed
Wednesday-8-6
Thursday- 8-6
Friday- 6-6
Saturday-6AM-7PM
Sunday-5AM-4PM

Weatherman was spot on with the forecast these last few days. It got up to 50 yesterday for a little while, but it was back down in the 20's by midnight and makin ice! See you all this weekend!!

Could it be? Could the infamous "next weekend" saying actually hold true?! By George I think it is! This week is going to drag on for ever! subtlehustle76, I'll be going for sure now. Just spoke with the guy I fish with and he got off. Not sure what time will get there. Need to stop at Tackleshack to get bait and might have to get kids on bus if they have a delay. We will be in camo and I may put up my Instashak shelter. It is black and yellow. Also need to keep them alive, so bring a bucket and something to get water out of the hole to replenish the water.

Can't stress enough about bringing something to get water to put in the bucket, lol. Last year used a scooper to get water.... kinda forgot mine when I left, was great entertainment for the people around us.

Well, I'm not going to make it. The weather is horrible in Edinboro, and the group decided to stay the night. I'm hoping to get on the ice on Friday as I have to work Saturday and Sunday this weekend.

Checked out in front of the Pines launch and found 6" yesterday. Customers reported 5-6" on the stumps end too. I didn't venture too far because it was pretty late last night, but if you check the Hills Creek board, I put up a map of where the ice was thinner earlier in the week. Everything's been making ice really fast this week. About 3" of snow came down last night though.
