Show me a lake with safe ice that has lakers in it and I'll show you one, hopefully in the next two weeks we can get out on those lakes. Until then pan fish and bass will have to do.

lol ive been fishing a laker lake with safe ce for weeks ! buddy even caught a nice laker !! ;D

NH has a few lakes not managed as lake trout lakes. One of them routinely gives up double digit specimens @)

Couldn't keep him, but got a great picture....  actually my first ever lake trout on a jig stick! I think I'm still grinning a little about it

I agree, there are a few select lakes that usually have early ice and have decent laker potential. gettin out today !
