I enjoyed contributing to the 2014 thread but since I won't be able to get on the ice this year I guess I will start the thread for everyone else since it looks like there may be some pics for us in the near future!

We will try to get some pics for you tomorrow. Did not get out today. Wind was howling and one more day of making ice can't hurt.

Tomorrow??? Tomorrow is only January 2nd. Is this the same Chief Meteorologist WaxWorm who said earlier in the week that we wouldn't have ice until Mid January?

had to go down to the farm tonight so I stoped at one of the ponds 3"+ 10 feet out from shore it was dark and wasn't going out to deep water, man its glass and not to much for bubbles spooky

No action shots today as the phone was buried most of the day and the bite did not last long enough to mess around with photos. Here is a pic of the bucket when we left. A less than stellar morning with clear water, clear ice and sunshine.

Then we swung by Rico's place and I got this action shot of something on the ice for you.

Nice Action shot Wax! Was nice to get out. Drilling holes was easy enough. Kahtoola Microspikes so sharp I could make a toe circle then kick it in with my back heel. Definitely not a first ice bite. First ice was before Thanksgiving that warm spell screwed with them bad imo. Will be interesting and a challenge for sure! I counted 273 holes from Fridays drill fest 1 fish per 4 hole average is work. Pics of fish were from Thursday. Probably had roughly the same amount Friday that we distributed to others wanting fish.

This post is a great example of why these guys often have successful outings. They put the time and work in to make it happen. How many guys are willing to drill that many holes and put that much effort in to find the fish? Not many!! Nice job guys and great catch. Keep the pics coming!
