Try McGwenneger slough. Although I heard it is slow from last years winter kill (Snappy's report). From what I read on here, church slough has some crappie as well.

If you can get on the crappie at mcwenneger it is the most consistent bite. Church doesn't have much for crappie.

Well no crappie to report but I did catch some perch at mcwenneger. Thanks for the tips I will give it a try again soon.
