Anybody use this? It seems like it might work well for bringing just a couple of dozen crappie minnows out, but may be too small. Thoughts?

Been using a coffee can with styrofoam liner for years. That should work as well

Yeah I use Maxwell House plastic coffee cans, but when we do small minnows on tipups, I like to leave the bait near the hole, I've had water get pretty slushy in the cans, thought this might help.

For tip up fishing I have a 5 gallon pail w a styro liner & lid Keep the water from icing over & when i'm done I put it in the basement w an aerator to keep them lively.

I use a Country Crock butter container! For a couple different reasons. 1) Free container 2) Fits in my fridge no need for aerator 3) small and easy to transport. I mainly fish in my hut with the heat on BUT i like to run tip ups and leave the container outside right on the ice also....works great for me! I keep 2 dozen + in it at a time. My buddy bought one of them containers and it leaked about as much as my free container and his minnows died....
