This is my first year trapping shiners, I'm trying all sorts of little ponds slow moving pockets of water in streams, I have tried various different dates from Brad and hot dogs dog food I have been fishing on the bottom mainly, I recently started fishing is suspended trap just a little below the ice, I can't seem to come up with more than one shiner at a time, I have a black trap I have galvanized traps neither one seems to make the difference, what am I doing wrong?!?!
