Braided ice fishing line

Decided to try some Suffix 832 ice fishing braided line. 10lbs test has a diameter of 4lbs mono line(.008). The line appears to be very limp with no memory and no stretch. Still I've always used a fluorocarbon leader on my tipups. I was wondering if I should apply a leader to the ice braid? Anyone have any experience with jigging braided line?

I use nothing but braid, have for many years and would never think of going back, yes you do still want to add a flouro leader though

I never go higher than 6 lb. flouro, big fan of seaguar. I only fish trout though. Different species targeted and different depths/habitat/situation decide my leader length. Usually anywhere from 3-15' though

I fish for panfish with 6# braid and a 12-18" fluorocarbon leader. 2# with small jigs to 4# with larger.

There's a fine line between fishing and standing on the ice looking like an idiot.

I have some 6lbs florocarbon but find it funny the diameter is larger than the braid (6lbs Floro .0095, 10lbs Braid .008). Still 36" leader will probably my where I start. Thanks for the advice.
