Fishers Choice Bait

Has anyone ever tried fishers choice bait for ice fishing? saw them in a cabelas catalog and wondering if they would work for ice fishing. They have wax worms and fresh water shrimp preserved in a can. Looks like they would be great for ice fishing but the price is a little steep for something they may not work.
