I will be staying up in the ossipee area for a week from 12/29 to 1/2 and fishing every day. i have the hall pass and will be traveling solo. I will be looking for safe ice and anyone willing to join me. let me know by pm if you know of any safe ice or interested in joining me. i cant wait to get back on da ice.

You might be getting a call if we don't see ice down here. Or even if we do. I'll bring my 10" auger so there is enough room for my your hole for my trap to catch your fish.

no need for a hall pass here ..my wife knows better if theres ice im fishing dont even think about making plans for me to be around !!lol

I hear that. I would ice fish all winter if I could. My family nor my gf understand why I get annoyed when they try to invite me to do stuff on my fishing days. My schedule is booked solid all winter and it revolves around the ice. Unless someone dies it's the only place I want to be. Enjoy your hall pass.

lol hell if they are dead there not gonna miss me !! i can still think about them and send my condolences from the ice !

Hey Kevin I was on a few inches of ice catching brookies today. Not sure if I'll have days off that week but I'll fill you in on good ice.

nice job getting out. it's been awhile since we fished together. we really got to make it happen this yr. text me if you can make one of those days. I wont have access to a computer.

I was out today with a couple buddies, a bunch of slime darts and dink perch, I got one brookie about 15". Ice conditions went way down but still fishable.

Part 2 of the hall pass(5 straight days of fishing different waters)

fished mon at a local brookie pond near my camp and lost a nice brookie cuz the line snapped. meet the fish nerds there and fish and chatted with them. 2.5 inches and all the edges where gone. went scouting for safe ice the rest of the day and found 5" on another trout pond. day 2 tue met up with my friend Dana and went to that trout pond. Dana hit a nice bow on the jig and we had a bunch of chew and runs along with a bunch of pickeral and perch. day 3 wed my friend mike contacted me about hitting a trout pond in maine so i met him and 2 of his friends there but no trout. typical chew and spit but the perch were all big 12" and i got a nice 12" crappie. moose sausage on the grill was da bomb. love that stuff. day 4 thur sick of trout fishing. decided to go long for pike with mcjake. did good landing 2 nice pike and a pickeral. day 4 fri went back to the pike thing with mcjake and my luck ran out with a big skunk. got carded by the warden who really liked to talked while i was picking up to head back home. not a fishbusting trip but the peace and serenity really make the trip. saw at least 1 eagle per day.

thanks to everyone that responded and i got to fish with. met some new friends and hope to meet some more. ice shanty people are the best!!!!
