APU's Ice fishing pics. Updated Jan 17.

Made it out a few times this week and not much action, we did catch a few however.

All fish were released to grow bigger!!!!!!!



This Pike was caught using a small jig and minnow with 6lb test NO LEADER :o



And here is the release


Here is another Pike caught the same day.

good job in the second to last picture it looks like a mackerel cut in half is that what you use for bait ??? :tipup:

Thats what i thought it was also, that baitfish was left on the ice by another fisherman. I use mainly 6 to 8" Herring for bait for Pike.

since the 'Ladies' sign is on the inside of the door I assume that means they must use the outdoor loo'.  Now I notice a 5 gallon bucket with a lid inside that shanty- is that for the guys?  Great pics.

Made a trip north for some Pike. We caught lots of small Pike but no big ones yet, it was a beautiful day with about 20 to 25 flags and even a very brief visit from 3 huge Moose!!!!!!! Sorry the Moose didn't stick around long enough for a photo :'(

LOL, looks like the one guy is going to attack the pike with a chainsaw, interesting way to fillet fish. :D
