Front Clam cover...
« on: Dec 06, 2014, 06:22 PM »
Here are some pics of my Clam with the front end with a steel cover. Last year I was in rough ice and got 3 holes in the front corners. So here is what I came up with. It's a push snow shovel that I cut the handle off of. It was a perfect fit. $29.00 bucks for the shovel at Manards. I rivited it to the Clam. Worked GREAT...

When hell freezes over Ill Ice fish there too

Looks great...good thinking on your part!

The difference between an 8" hole and a 10" hole is.....a 10" hole will usually give you your boot back!

In the food chain of life...its not good to be referred to as: "a good eating size".

Better get some runners on there or holes will wear through the bottom.

Great idea.

That shovel with that short D handle would have killed your back trying to shovel with it. I will have to look at one so I can put one of my 6 foot handles on it and make it a GOOD shovel.
