Who's heading out this weekend?

I know some of us will be heading to the Ice Show, but just wanted to see who was going to be making a trip (or two) onto the ice.

I went out this afternoon to a west metro lake. Not many people out, but the bite was less than spectacular.

I always thought water belonged under the ice not on top of it..!

Im holding off til we get some colder weather !

After this past weekend our house is back in the yard,all of that water ran back down the cracks and holes leaving behind some rather large openings. So it will be some time before those areas are refrozen. Now there is snow on the top! Well when it comes to ice conditions, no two years are every the same.

I spent the day yesterday helping the old timers pull their skidders off the lake. 3 chained up wheelers in line on the big dog. Certainly glad we didn't fall thru. They should be able to go back out this weekend. Thank god my house is much lighter
