900 miles for a Lake Trout 30 Nov 2014

How far would you drive to ice fish? My friend made the 900 mile round trip visit for lake trout (I told him he could bring a friend - cause there is always from for one more) 

They both left after 2 days of fishing with each of them achieving a new personal best. Arctic Char and Lake Trout... it was hard luck, but they made it.

NICE FISH!!!  Ill be making that trip this winter for the first time.  Life long goal has been to catch a lake trout.  I am new to this site but check it quite frequently.  Can anyone help me with posting pictures?  I cannot seem to figure out how to upload any pictures.......  You click on attach image and it just populates your post with text.....
