its Fake... has to be there is no ice in NH! I think a few lakes up here are still locked in so the King of the Lake has to come from Maine!

This show is an insult to serious ice fishermen. Very bad.

This show absolutely sucks. It certainly doesn't depict my beloved ice fishing or the people I've ever fished with or met. Josh is a complete a@shole, if he buzzed my set up like he did to the two guys I would've sunk him and the side by side. Total jerk and not a sportsman in the least. I don't care if you're fishing a derby or not there's no reason to be a jerk. This show doesn't do the slightest bit of justice to any of us and for people who never ice fished before they probably think we're all a bunch of drunks or jerks. Real sad. They could've had a good show if they had a better bunch of guys if you ask me.

I watched it and think it sucks. The cast leaves a lot to be desired especially Josh, he's a arrogant jerk and not a sportsman in the least. They should've gotten a better cast and if they did it could be a great show. It sure doesn't depict any of the people I ice fish with or ever met on the ice.

I just watched the first two episodes.(rebroadcast) Agree this show seems to follow the typical " reality" show format. Disappointing looks like National Geographic is trying to boost it's ratings. If someone drove a vehicle like Josh during a derby they should be disqualified and possibly subject to arrest.

I watched this new "ice holes " show last night and it was horrible. Bunch of guys that act like idiots, very staged and scripted.
Can not believe someone actually thought this show will make it on T.V.
Do not waste your time, terrible "reality" type TV show. Insulted to ice fishermen everywhere

it appears to me that someone left the nut house doors unlocked. I am trying to figure out how to get that 30 minutes of wasted time back. that show makes us all look like a bunch of idiots. I only hope none of those guys are members here on Iceshanty. if they are they may wonder who deleted their posts.

. that has to be the worst show ever on TV. it makes the people from Maine look like crazy people,which is not true because I had the privilege to fish with 2 of your moderators a few years ago at a Moderator get together here in Wisconsin. those 2 guys were fishnfool & billditrite. to all the members who have not yet seen this joke of a TV show, don't waste your time. there I am done venting now.
