Well had an excellent day again today on the pond. I was able to send all my friends home and cousin with a mess of gills for a fish lunch. I just decided I wasn't cleaning fish today and my friends didn't get many. It was proof in the pudding of VEXILAR vs. NO VEXILAR!!!! O yeah I also had the underwater camera

Started the day off with the smallest crappie I have ever seen.

And this is one of the piles I sent home with my buddies.

Gonna head out tomarrow in search for some JUMBO perchies!!!! 8)

in summer me and my friend pull a 6 foot seine net, and one time we caught a school of atleast 500 of those little guys!

Well the bite was on when I first got there but didn't stay on for long. I Covered every area I have had luck before and apparently wasn't the right spots today because after these three I never marked another fish.

Made it out on the ice tonight with kingfshr16 for a couple hours before dark .. We hit the ice about 3 and fished till 5:30. We caught some real nice perch and a few gills. Here is a picture of my take home. kingfshr16 gave me his to take home to clean. I think I caught 10-11 of them including the 12" which was the last fish of the night. I also managed to pick up a nice gill. Kingfshr16 can't wait to get back out there again. Had a good time fishing with ya and maybe we will hit some hardwater again this weekend.

I had a good time fishing with ya.......we'll have to do it again....ill let ya know tomorrow what im doing for saturday.

Those are some dandy perch - and that crappie is indeed small - but a gorgeous little one at that - really nice colors!!!! Good pics!!

Well I made it out with BigRed for some pond trout fishing on Saturday. What a beautiful day it was. Some sprinkles here and there but most of the day was windless and temps were around 45 degrees. Never before this day have I been able to pull a rainbow trout through the ice. So when I pulled this 13" through the ice at about 11:15 I was very happy.

About 20 minutes later jigging away a big flash came on the vex and I missed the first hit but when the jig dropped back down BAM and the fight was on with this beautiful 19" rainbow.
