Ice piles on the south shore Oneida Lake

I went over to William's Park the other day and I saw that the ice piled up on and near shore. They are huge piles, and I was wondering if anyone knows how hard it will be to get a quad with a clam and jet sled out from there. The piles are about 15' high in some spots... has anyone tried to get over these spots or spots like them with ATVs when this has happened in the past? I'm going to be really dissappointed if I can't go out from there with the quad this year.
If anyone has been on the main lake, how is the ice?

i finaly got the picture cd today from my mother of the ice. i usually accsess the lake from there, but not this year. this ice is going to be there untill june. my garndmother has lived there since the sixties and has never seen anything like it
