Snow totals
« on: Mar 20, 2014, 06:55 AM »
I am wondering if someone knows what they got for snow in Gilford? Still got cusk lines on the lake, just wondering what I`ll need for a vehicle to get to them.
It might be good to post other totals for those who still have lines or hardsides still out......... 6" here in Northfield

10 to 12" 10 miles south of Newfound. Heavy wet crap that will make moving houses a pain, I'm sure.

We got 3 inches in Epsom and not enough to talk about in Manchester. I was looking to play hooky from work tommorrow and hit Winni Squam but I'm nervious I might get my quad stuck out on the lake. If the snow is to deep I don't stand a chance.

Jack em up and wait till the snow dies down some. Then bounce.

Meredith recorded 11 inches for this morning, that's a little deep for my Honda Rancher AT. My fishing adventure will need to be further south. I have some black crappie holes to fish, I won't go home empty handed.

I wouldn't worry too much about the recorded snowfalls from this morning. The 10" that fell at my camp on Welch island this morning melted down to about 3" by this afternoon... I wouldn't worry too much.

Ended up on the lake yesterday from Gilford to Long Island, Bear, 5 mile 6 mile all the snow compressed by mid afternoon to great traveling. What a season the least amount of ice I found on Winnip has been 20"
