Fished till about 1am Fri night couldn't believe I didn't catch 1 crappie, normally I get at least 1/2 doz. Maybe it was because the YB Cats had moved in, caught 5(released don't eat catfish). I was getting to the point I avoided trying to catch anything that come off the bottom. Also caught about 10 gills. Never fished for gills much after dark until this year, I've had my best luck after dark. Caught my last gill at 1am 7 foot off the bottom, never dreamed gills would bite that late. Stared at 1pm and only caught 1 gill during daylight, the rest came after 830pm.
