Lake John

Lake John a lake south east of Lopez Sullivan county.
Can someone please confirm that you cannot access this lake from rt 487.
Seems to be that the only way to get in is to hoof it from the north east side.
Mud road is the nearest public road.

Confirmed...a buddy of mine used to access it from 487 but he had the landowners permission... I took the hike last fall. Not the easiest carrying ice fishing gear...although the road is decent.
