hibbing area driving

Has any one been on the lakes around hibbing? lakes like six mile, joker,mcquade,or DuPont?
i seen a 1/2 ton Chevy on six mile but didn't feel like venturing out i have a ranger and would have been fine
but any update on ice thickness would be app. thanks Eskimo200
