Haliburton Walleye
« on: Dec 21, 2005, 05:43 PM »
Got out on Lake Kashawigamog Last night and this morning.  The walleye bite was surprisingly good.  They were hitting everything that moved at twilight last night, me and the old man kept four and let some go.  The bite was slower this morning but was steady and we iced a pile and let all but one go.  I let what would have been my personel best go at the hole.  hahaha.  she was very big, looked about 30 inches.  she spit the jig at me when I was about to grab her.  I will get my pictures put onto cd and get them into the computer for tomorrow.

Just outside the town of Haliburton.

I dont really know that area too much, I just went up and flung myself onto the ice and crashed for a bit after in some motel type place and got up early and flung myself onto the ice again and then came home.

I am going out to get the pictures developed and put onto disk right now at a 1 hour place so and buy a christmas present for my mother so i will post them a little later this afternoon.

Nice job, but I need to know where!

Off the highway between Haliburton and midland.  i forget the name of the highway.  south from minden outside of town about ten minutes on left hand side.  a little bay northwest side of bay seemed to be more productive.  on the inside turn.
