Fisherman24 welcome to Ice Shanty.As others have posted if you do a little searching you will find there are numerous lake to fish in the Adirondacks. Read through the thread/threads on Lake George (The King) . I have made two trips to the Speculator,NY. area in Hamilton County. You have three lakes to choose from Lake Pleasant.Sacandaga Lake and Piseco Lake. These lake hold panfish ,trout Piseco has the bonus of lake trout and land locked salmon. I would recommend meeting up with someone from this website who lives or regularly fishes in the Adirondack area. The Lakes I mentioned are large by comparison to lakes in my home area of south east New York. Many are 1,00 acres or more in surface area. I usually fish on lakes 200 acres or less in size.

After you have 5 posts, you can access the conditions board.  You will be able to get tons of information on Adirondack lakes.

Welcome Fisherman 24. You can find a lot of info out on this site as well as the NYSDEC site as to what lakes can be ice fished and what species of fish they hold. Happy reading and good luck.

Lighten up I was only busting chops, obviously he knows there are fish in the ADK's.  Believe you me I will help anyone out with locations, lures etc. I'm a big believer you can lead a jigger to fish but they can't always pull'm through a hole.  We are all out there to enjoy the same thing why not share with others. To many damn stiffs on these threads

I can give you some locations where you CAN'T catch 100 lakers on LG.  Might help you narrow in down some.

Try million dollar beach....if you fish there all day, every day, all season long you might get a hundred
