I decided to ice fish there for the first time Sunday.  I started on ledge pond to start.  Fished an hour and never marked a fish.  Moved around to a different pond and first hole lit up my Flasher.  All kinds of fish would fly up to my bait then turn and run as soon as they got to it.  Finally I figured them out.  Caught some small crappie and gills on a slender spoon.

Anyone else been getting on the this year in the park?

Ya I fished the back yard a few times this it's been hit and miss most of the year. A lot of what your talking fly in and fly bys. It's a tough fishery at best not sure what happened to ledge used to be a lot of big gills but this year there are no weeds on the back flat?? Osprey is about as clear as mud and the rest just have dinks in them!
