Why doesn't Marcum make the lx7 with gps to mark waypoints?  The unit has a lcd screen and a sd card slot.  All they would need to do is install a internal gps antenna and a couple extra buttons.  I know there is more to it than just an antenna, but this would make this unit awesome.

gps is most likely a billion dollar business. why would they give that to us when they can make you buy a good 500.00 separate unit. money talks.

Personaly I dont want one on my finder for ice, plus I already have 4 others....

I use my navonics app for the iPhone to mark my waypoints and find depths.   Easier

I have a feeling it's only a matter of time and they'll be offering it !!!

They did a customer survey during development and a gps was not high on the list for the device.  That being said, I think we will see it before too long.

I mentioned that in the first responce to this post. They cant get their regular products right now. Dont think they should add to their headaches by trying to add gps.
