Flasher problems...
« on: Jan 20, 2014, 03:33 PM »
went fishing yesterday, flasher was working fine. flag goes up, run out to check it, get back to the shack, flasher is off.

turn it back on and all i get is a constant high pitched sound.  ??? im going to call marcum tomorrow, just thought id ask to see if anyone had similar problems or knew what could be wrong.

Did you unplug the battery and plug it in again. Could of been a big fish just under the ice.

I've got the itch... No, not that one. It's the good kind.
It's pronounced "fay-len" (the x's are silent)

Take it out to your truck. Turn the unit on and grab your pos and neg connectors. Touch the pos and neg to your truck battery and see if it does the same.  ;)

I have an LX3 that will make a noise but its stops after a 10 min give are take. Flasher works great, Markum will fix for a fair price if required
