Do you have a budget in mind

I bought a pair if camo underarmour boots at dicks for 199.99. Best $ i spent in a while. They have 800 grams of insulation, so warm you only need 1 pair of socks on. Pretty lightweight, and there great hunting boots. Very waterproof and i highly recomend them.

i have a pair of Cabelas Inferno 2000 pac boots...  i have only had them this year but i am very happy with them...  Dry, warm, comfortable, relatively lite, and only $120 bucks....   I have put miles on those boots this year and out in 6 inches of snow and 2 degrees for 10 hours...  Im sure there are better boots but for $120 bucks they are great....

I like my irish setter 600 gram pac boots- they're the old style with the rubber bottom and leather upper...Just find a pair thats roomy enough so the insulation doesn't get crushed too bad and doesn't work anymore- and make sure you account for extra room for socks.  I think expensive boots can be a bit overrated...its usually just a rubber shell with insulation anyway.

Honestly, my boots are probably 16 yrs old, I have no idea what grams of insulation they use, I probably paid under 50 bucks for them but my feet have gotten cold 3 or 4 times in brutal conditions over the course of 14 years of ice fishing. I only wear one pair of merino wool socks. I think that is the secret.

Half the time I don't even end up tying my boots because my feet stay warm.

Finally bit the bullet and got tired of cold feet. Bought some Baffin apex , which for some are overkill around here . I have tried cabelas predaters and my current 1200 gram thin. boots and still cold(mild frostbite as kid ). These are great. 7 hours in 9 degree temps with 1 pair of socks and warm feet for once.

One word...
Baffling
Both me and my brother wear them. Take a trip to Mickey Fins in Berlin. Some great cold weather gear in the work shop.
