I was at TRR today. It was very slow. Caught 7 perch between 2 guys.

Spent Thurs/Friday there. Caught some perch, couple crappie. No walleye. About 16" ice.

It's all about timing and location. . .someone, somewhere is catching fish on TRR, and many more are beating their brains out.

Thanks to all for the information, I appreciate it. I will be taking my 17 yr old daughter down tomorrow. Things have not been easy lately and I am really looking forward to a day on the ice with her. Sometimes it doesn't matter how many fish you catch.

Just wanted to thank everybody who replied. Fishing was slow, but the weather and ice conditions were great. I really appreciate the numerous folks who offered up advice. Once you get past the obvious posts that trigger personal opinions, the community is a great asset. Thanks again.
