How often guys, every year, or every other, I do every other.  Depends where you store reels(top of garage) super hot in summer, bad for line.  Store mine in basement, dark and cool.  Havent had a breakoff in yrs

Several times a season, still trying to find the line that I like best, my dumb a$$ can't seem to document or remember what I use and why I like or unlike it!

I think I'm on the same line for the past 3+ years. I don't change it unless it starts breaking prematurely or has too much coil memory

Rarely need to fish over 20', put on a new 50' pre-season then as needed during the season from wear or re- tying often.

Usually every other year, but the past two years I've had to change it more often.  It happens when the guy you let use your gear tangles a lot and you have to cut a lot of line (you know the one I'm talking about! lol)

Once a year on the spins depending on use.  Every other for schooleys and straight line.

Every thirty days (at least). Only takes a few minutes to keep good twist free, tangle free line on an ice reel.
