Did you actually loose your shelter?!  I've almost had mine take off while on Upper Red in MN, but always caught it.

Which lake do you want to rattle?  The ice is still not good on Beaver, LLB or the park lakes.  I will let you know when it is safe to drive on.  Why drag your equipment, when you can drive it there! ;)

Do you think they'll be ready by the 27th when vancouvercanuck, the muddler and myself come up?

There has been vehicle traffic along the lakeshore at Young's Beach boatlaunch.  I saw a couple of shacks out, owned by the those that live along the lakeshore.  Temps are -20 this morning, making some good ice.  There is little snowcover, so if the temps continue for a couple of more days, the lake should be pretty good by the 27th.  I expect to drill a few holes to check the thickness this weekend, so I will let you know.  Looking forward to the return engagement!!!!  What with a few Kokanees, warm shanties, good company and hopefully co-operative walleyes and perch, could life get any better?

I'm planning to come.  Definitely want to.  The clutch is gone in my truck though :%$#!:.  I have the parts already but my mechanic isn't available until Jan. 3rd :'(.  So it looks like I'll be driving the car again this year.  Unless I rent a truck for a day or two :-\.

Have you guys settled on exact dates?

Hey Trev, if your bringing your car you might want to install some kind of heavy duty bumper.  Cuz we all know if there's even only one vehicle within 50 miles of the Muddler he's going to run into it!!

And remember I'm the spoonseller, vancouvercanuck is the spoongiver and the muddler is the spoonreceiver!
