Ice Fishing pictures that aren't of fish

Just curious if I'm the only one that notices the beauty of the surroundings instead of being focused on just fishing...

First Tracks on Follensby Clear Pond


First tracks on Chateaugay Lake


Eagles at an Adirondack Lake. If you look close in some of the pics you can see a rainbow smelt in its claws. I was within 20 feet of these birds.

These pictures really prove that some of the best times in the outdoors aren't always about catching fish and harvesting game. what an awesome sight that must of been

Love the eagle pics.  Had one steal a 16in rainbow off the ice from me once. Wish I had some pics of that.

I believe it. I was fishing a stocked pond in the summer once and one did a nose dive off a 20 foot high branch and came up with a big rainbow. Also, they are HUGE birds if you've never seen one. Even the littlest one I've seen in person has a wingspan bigger than my armspan...

I took them with an old Envy Touch...so that gives you an idea. Literally 20 feet in some cases. If there aren't many people or they aren't active, they'll get close to get a fish.

I remember eagles up on lake clear that would swoop down 15 ft from you, the question is how did you do on follensby, not too far from me havent fished it in a long time though.
