Anybody going to Dog Lake tomorrow?

I will be on Burnt Hills Rd, around 0930

Was thinking of Loughborough, never been to dog...species?

And this wind chill warning is gonna make for a crazy cold day tomorrow!

Hey Hearn,
Dog lake has pike, bass, and splake. The splake are a cross breed from a laker, and speckle trout. And they act like specks. Everywhere in the water column.

Good luck on what ever lake you decide, it's going to be a cold one this am

Hi MegaRam I have only iced fish dog lake once and that was in March of last year and never marked anything on the flasher ,we got on off of wellington st,I was wondering where you get on ,on Burnt Hills Rd is there a place to park etc thanks for any info.

nope.. should i know? lol  going out to dog tomorrow in the am. Im thinking Loughb will be packed.
Will be parked on BHR. going to be there for 645ish.

augh..   Fell back asleep.. this isn't good.  heading out now at 0930.

Merganser1, Its hard to explain where to get on the lake, the best way for me to discribe it is. its in the middle of BHR. there is a bay and some cattails on the side of the road.  the small bay leeds to the bigger part of the body of water.

MegaRam, wasn't too bad on Loughborough, about 10 huts out at max....crazy windy all day though!

Have You been out this year yet??

I haven't had much time to hit the hard water this winter, I fished Quinte on the weekend and was able to bring back 3 nice sized eaters, it was a windy one....

Hope to get out on Lobo soon to chase the trout again...

Anyone going on to Dog in the morning(Thurs)?  Was out on Lough today and got skunked.  Never been to Do but was looking to give it a go.
