Fishing Licenses
« on: Dec 29, 2013, 12:05 PM »
Just a reminder that you're Mass. and Conn. fresh water and salt water fishing licenses expire 12/31/2013  The 2013 Rhode Island fresh water 2013 overlap into 2014 till about Febuary, so the Bait and Tackle shops can return the old ones and show the new bond for 2014 and balance the accounts. Just a reminder so no one gets a nice day on the hard water ugly or expensive. The weather forecast is for a real good lock-up the next 5 consecutive days and next weekend looks like a home-run  State  Wide !   Wayne  P.S   36 Ice Tournaments for 2014 are listed already and counting  !!!!!! Top one is $100,000.00 for a new State record Northern Pike !

Flik n Dip and I were out last Saturday and got checked for our licenses.  We both had them and were fine.  I asked the warden if we didn't, what would be the stiffest penalty.  He said a ticket for $100.  They don't take gear anymore.

Good to know.  He seemed friendly enough.

If you don't give them a hard time and there isn't a mess...they won't bother you...but there all ways could be a ball breaker...booze and fishing are a match made in heaven...cheers!
