OK, I recognize the carrots lemon wedge and banana (supposedly bad luck before a fishing trip) but what is that, tree roots?

That all looks good, but I never seem to have time (or make the time) when I am on the water to even eat a sandwich, let alone stop and "make " something... 7 hours of fishing yesterday, I only got half a sandwich in and I did not even take enough time to drink enough liquids, I ended up dehydration... That is one of the cool things about fishing, you can go for the social aspects, the getting away from it all or like me, the catch fish part, it's all good!

Yup, cold pizza is a real champions breakfast.

Used to consider a couple smokes and strong coffee one too. But I quit smoking, so now it's just coffee.

Fish looks good, what flavor of fish? What did you use for breading too, color seems a bit strange?

Darn lemon! I've heard cigarettes and gas are repellents.  Is anything good to put on your hands to attract or mask?
Stevek, its walleye with a modified golden dip brand breading, I like a milder flavor with walleye, cats are the only fish I like battered.

To attract and mask

Goto a grocery store and buy some anise extract.

I cut a SMALL piece of DRIED kitchen sponge, remove the cap from the extract BUT leave the foil seal thing still on. I use an exacto knife to cut a + sign to squeeze in the piece of sponge I just cut.

Insert dried sponge (works well if you squeeze the end going in first and twist it), it soaks up anise to expand into the + you cut carefully cut.

To use, I pop open the cap flip it upside down, gently squeeze and rub my thumb, forefinger and middle finger over the sponge and then rub onto the same fingers of my other hand. I do not reapply to the other fingers because anise is pretty strong.

Then you will smell like licorice all day long.

Thanks.
Although I've had some bad experiences with european liqueur, might get sick if I have to smell it all day.
