i have a buddy heater, although with the 1 1/2 inch insulation the light on high inside it made it warm as well.

Looks like an awesome shack! Paint the inside white, it will make better use of your light.

I really like the low-pro window on the side... just big enough for a 12 guage barrel.  Now about painting the inside, I think you will want to keep it a dark color on the inside as it will allow you see down your holes better.  Also, keep it dark on the outside as it will absorb solar heat and keep it warmer inside.  Lastly, keep a spot for me in there as well ;D ;D ;D!  Great looking shack-  may it be blessed with scales on the walls and blood stains (not yours) on the floor!

Great idea on painting the inside a darker color to see down the holes better. I have never heard that one before but it makes sense.  I have been debating how to paint my new shanty and was thinking of going a lighter color to give a spacious feel (I know.. too many home decorating shows on tv ).  I think I will go darker now.

think some more....you probably should paint it lighter inside....if you want to do some sight fishing, you can always consider inside or outside covers for the windows....you wont be sorry....Grump

Now I am back to square one on how to paint the inside of my hut.  Oh well... I'll probably just see if I can find any off colored paint sold cheap.
