Sunday on Antero

Very slow bite all day.  The weather was nice and no wind.

The good ole wind kicked up around 2 PM.  We headed for the exits. 

We walked away with one rainbow.  First trip of the season.

I wonder if it is the moon phase or the pressure that Antero's been getting, that are making for slow fishing? Maybe a combination of the two.

man i was hoping the bite was still good we wanted to make a trip up christmas day,  i jus got my new portable built and wanted to test it.  but i guess we will head up there regardless cant catch them on the couch

I haven't picked up a flasher yet.  I'm thinking that will be the next investment. Antero has always delivered in the past.  Kind of sad these days.  I'm not giving up on her yet.

Slow happens. Def invest in a flasher. You'll wish you had a long time ago. Good luck when you get back out.

sight fishing in hub in 7 fow - fishing come thru @ 5 FOW
sonar outside hub was key to the soft bite they were applying
tried on 1x waxies and only the stockers were hitting - went to 2x waxies & the big boys & girls came in - it was 80/20 on hits - 80% nothing, 20% soft bite
