I am interested also. Some of the guys that I work with say that the fishing there is great, but non of them ice fish so they don't know what is like during the winter. I have heard that the walleye fishing there is very good as well.
Plan for the worst, hope for the best!

I was at Salmon Res. on Saturday and most of the Res. is open water. very little ice by the dam and in the bays. Good open water fishing, but no ice fishing.
