Fly the Team Iceshanty Flag! Iceshanty Proshop
Ah, beautimus 00tj. I'll just try to get it to full page on my 'puter.Well, I can't seem to do that enlargement. And it appears we lost Rebless to slumber. One last thing, please. If you could enlarge it and test it, until it doesn't show a "side-scroll" bar at the bottom. That'll be nearly full screen. I'll send this link to Rebelss, when he's up again he will then be able to see more detail. He is an ACE at these older fishing items. Wow, I just "previewed" what you just posted, much better. The full screens will help a lot. It'd be nice if the flip side could be seen, too.
I got one still I think they called them Trummin rods you just squeezed the lower grip to twitch the lure. The thumb lever was the spool brake or even used as a drag. One of the First European ice rods along with those Swisher rods from years back.
Rebelss It looks exactly like the Pic No plastic but a Wood handle red reel and built into the handle was the trigger if you will to Jiggle the bait. The rod blank if you will looks almost like a Zip tie on Roids with one wire loop for the tip top. On the handle the words Burnt in to the wood say Normark ELO. Like I said it is exactly what is pictured and I believe it would be from the 1970's or even earlier like the 60s Maybe the first Thrummin rod from Normark.
